Fix 1: Try the Startup Repair

When your computer won’t boot, the first fix is always booting your computer into the recovery environment (RE) and perform the Startup Repair. Here’s how:

  1. Ensure your PC is off.
  2. Press the power button to turn on your PC, then hold the power button down until PC shuts down automatically (about 5 seconds).
  3. Repeat this more than 2 times until you see the Preparing Automatic Repair.
