Trouble with Windows Updates? Here’s How You Can Get It Running Smoothly Again

Method 2: Check for malicious software

Your error may occur because of interference from malicious software. You should run a scan on your computer for any malicious program.

Method 4: Clear the SoftwareDistribution folder
