Code 28 in Windows Device Manager? Here’s How to Fix It Quickly
If you’re facing the Code 28 error – “The drivers for this device are not installed. (Code 28)” , don’t worry. In this post, you’ll learn how to fix it easily & quickly.
The Code 28 error is mainly caused by the faulty or outdated device driver. To fix the problem, you need toreinstall your device driver .
Here’s how to do it:
1. On your taskbar, right-click theStart button and selectDevice Manager .
2. Right-click the device that causes the Code 28 error, then selectUninstall device .
3. In the pop-up window, check the box next toDelete the driver software for this device and clickUninstall again.
4. After uninstalling the device, go to the manufacturer’s website to download the latest driver for your device and then follow the on-screen instructions to install it.
